Our Board

Brian Dolan – Chairperson 

Brian has spent nearly 30 years in the Telecommunications industry where he has developed a reputation as an effective and well respected executive; he is currently with Level 3 Communications.  Brian was raised in the Bronx, NY, where his father was NYPD and later ran the Police Athletic League for the five Boroughs.  He grew up assisting his father at PAL and witnessing firsthand the difference that First Responders make in the community.

 

Brian and his family have live in the Milton/Alpharetta area since 2004.  He currently resides in Crabapple with his wife Lara and daughters Olivia and Carly.  The family is passionate about their adopted community, volunteerism and giving back.

Bradley P. Serff – Co-Chair

Brad is the President, CEO and a Founding Board Member of Providence Bank in Alpharetta Georgia.  He is married to Dawn, has two daughters, Ashton and Charlotte and resides in Milton Georgia.  Brad is a lifelong banker beginning his career with C&S Bank in Atlanta after graduating from the University of Tennessee.  Brad also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.  He has worked with various banks in Georgia over his 27 year banking career and is currently the Treasurer of the Community Bankers Association of Georgia and the Community Banker’s Committee Chairman for the Georgia Bankers Association.

 

Brad is an active volunteer and is the current Board Chairman for YMCA Camp High Harbour Services which operates residential and day camps in Georgia.  He is also involved in Eagles Nest Ministries, an in-town Atlanta Homeless Mission.  Brad is a Rotarian and member of the Milton-Windward Rotary Club and is currently the Membership Chair.

Robyn Pinto – Treasurer 

Robyn has been a resident of Georgia since 1992.  She lives in Milton with her husband of 22-years, and her 3-children.  Over past 10-years, while living Milton, Robyn has given back to the community through her participation in the following volunteer organizations:

 

        Child care group leader at Northpoint Community Church

        Troop Leader for Girl Scouts of America, Milton Chapter

        College research and enrollment advisor at Milton High School

        Treasurer for Ray Thomas Memorial Church

        Treasurer and Vestry member for St. Clements Episcopal church

        Treasurer for Boxtree Manor Home Owner’s association

 

Robyn is also the majority owner of an advisory services firm, Sylvan Advisory and Consulting LLC, where she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a consulting firm that provides advise and counsel to small and medium-sized business.

Claudine Wilkins – Secretary 

Claudine graduated in 1997 with a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School.  She started her career as a prosecutor and in 1999, she started her own personal injury law firm in 2001.  In 2004, she gained national attention with a landmark victory in a drunk driving case. Since 1996, she has assisted in hundreds of animal abuse cases.  In 2003, she created an annual conference targeting professionals who may be involved animal cruelty cases and has done one every year since.  In 2009, she founded the Animal Law Section of the Georgia Bar, a mainstream section which offers resources to all Georgia attorneys.  Her continuing efforts to draft and help pass legislation protecting children and animals resulted in the passage of local and State laws in Georgia including:  2006 – Dog Fighting law; 2012 – “The Responsible Dog Owner Act,” a law that revamped the antiquated dangerous dog law and protects the public by penalizing reckless dog owners; 2014 – “The Animal Cruelty Bill” – a 5 year endeavor which amended our antiquated cruelty law.  She continues training law enforcement, prosecutors, & judges throughout Georgia on animal law, animal cruelty, dangerous dog laws, civil dog bite cases, dog fighting and liquor liability cases.

Jan Fowler – Board Member 

Jan and her husband have been Milton residents since 1994 and have two grown sons and three grandchildren.   Supporting Public Safety is extremely personal for Jan as her brother is a retired Fire Captain with 29 years of service, she has three nephews in Law Enforcement, two in Fire Service and one is an EMT.   

 

Jan is a semi-retired former executive administrator, computer instructor and freelance computer consultant.  Jan has enjoyed giving back to her community for over 40 years, most notably as: 

 

    •    American Red Cross Disaster Action Team – Dallas County Sector Coordinator.

    •    Volunteer for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. 

    •    Chair of the “Furnish the Firehouse Fund”

    •    Founding Member of the Milton Roundup Committee.

    •    Founding Board Member, Chairperson and Grant Committee Chair of the Milton Public Safety Fund

Chip Gonzales – Board Member 

Chip was born Pittsburgh, PA and came to Atlanta in 1983 to attend Georgia Tech where he played Lacrosse.  He graduated from Southern Tech with a degree in Industrial Engineering and Tech Sales and worked for Federated Investors for 10 years as sales and regional sales manager.  In 1998, Chip started Cobra Investments America, Inc. that invests in Real Estate and Start-ups and is now CFO of Atlas of North Metro, a waste disposal company.  Chip and his wife, Lora Leigh, have 4 sons, a Chihuahua, an Italian Greyhound and a cat.

Loreto Hernalsteen – Board Member 

Loreto Hernalsteen was born in Santiago, Chile and moved to the United States in 1999 where she became a citizen.  Loreto is a linguist professional at VMware AirWatch, where she plays a key role driving end-to-end Spanish language translation and localization efforts for digital material in the enterprise mobility industry.  Loreto graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and holds a bachelor’s degree in German-English-Spanish Translation and Interpreting.

Loreto and her family have been residents of the City of Milton for over 10 years and they are active members in the community.  She feels honored to be part of the Milton First Responders Foundation and to be able to pursue her passion of giving back to the city she is proud to call her home.

Manny Triantis - Board Member

Steve Hamilton – Board Member 

Steve has a professional background that spans nearly 25 years in the telecommunications industries, where he has held key leadership positions in sales, marketing, operations and employee development.  After a lengthy career at Verizon, he recently joined Equifax in 2016.

Steve is a graduate of the University of Dayton and holds a B.S. degree in Business Marketing and Communications. He is a graduate of the Leadership Twin Cities program in Minnesota, is co-founder and past President of the Cogburn Woods Education Foundation, an active supporter of the Melanoma Research Foundation as well as the CureNF with Jack Foundation and is a coach in the Cambridge Youth Lacrosse program.

A proud native of Pittsburgh, Steve and his wife Marilee, along with their children Samantha and Cooper, have called Milton home since 2005.
